Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah, co-founder & CEO at Lobby,
based in San Francisco.

I'm a former Human and Computer Interaction researcher, ex-Airbnb and 2x founder.
I build an extension of human cognition, able to understand how we think & act. I'm passionate about neurosciences, hospitality and great craftsmanship.

Interests

I'm very detail-oriented, love beautiful objects and tend to go deep into the foundations of whatever I'm exploring.

  • Building technology that serves humans, not the other way around.
  • Collecting first-edition mixology books. My best find so far: a 1930 first edition of The Savoy Cocktail Book.
  • Nerding out on the science behind food pairing. Read The Art & Science of Food Pairing if this is also your kind of rabbit hole.
  • Discovering fashion brands that focus on details, high-quality craftsmanship, volume and unconventional materials.
Experience

Throughout my career, I've focused on understanding human cognition and building software that amplifies it.

Extensions that amplify each other and work on our behalf.
